Why Cheat India gets confusing in the end like its title.

Emraan Hashmi's Why Cheat India is unclear at few points. This movie starts on a good note but lost the track of its origin story in the second half. Needless romantic songs with their bad timing makes this movie more boring .

Why Cheat India story had a lot of potential if it stayed at the topic of corrupt education system only. But the storytelling loses its elements in the second half. The film wants to cover the different varied topics of drugs , sex-workers, guns , criminals rather than staying on the topic of corruption in the education system. Rakesh Singh (Emraan Hashmi) aka Rocky is a failed medical student who makes a cheating network so efficient that everyone stays happy in it. He gets foolish rich kids to pay intelligent poor kids money to sit for different entrance exams for them. This interesting story is interfered by unnecessary romantic songs in between thus losing the authenticity with which this film could have been made. In the second half, movie shifts to MBA related scams involving a huge amount of money . But the story jumps to a point which was not needed at all. The kissing scene, Rakesh's love life drama all makes you lose interest in the movie .

Emraan Hashmi as Rakesh Singh is just normal , there isn't anything such extraordinary worth mentioning about his acting. Shreya Dhanwanthary as Nupur did pretty good performance in the first half. Snigdhadeep Chaterjee as Sattu was the only good thing about this movie , his act of innocence can keep you a little engaged in the story. The cinematography is okay, some split shots though shot to have a rich cinematography were simply not needed. Some songs are just unnecessary and none of them is that good worth destroying the potential of the story.

Overall, this movie is good if you are planning to leave the cinema hall after intermission. I suggest leave the hall after intermission and fill it with your imagination. It might still be better than the original movie ending.
