THE CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA IS GUILTY OF BEING NOTHING LIKE ITS PREVIOUS VERSIONS.

Netflix’s Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina is a new age in itself .The people who know about the Archies Comics from where it’s derived, know that it’s a dark tale filled with perfect humour all around but this version is more of a dark tale with humour coming in small packets and clearly it is more concerned about showing the obsession of Sabrina to her normal life.

Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) is a half-witch, half-mortal human who must struggle to reunite her dual nature . She resides at Greendale with her aunts Hilda and Zelda. Sabrina has been aware of her heritage and is preparing for her Dark Baptism on her 16th birthday, which will turn her into full witch .But she has to leave Greendale and all her friends at Greendale High School who are quite normal for a new life as witch at the Academy for Unseen Arts.

The show is then all about her obssesion to live as a normal human because she doesn’t want to leave her boyfriend Harvey (Ross Lynch) . Now Shipka did a great job playing the role of Sabrina but some of her dialogue delivery and lousy scenes makes you feel a bit irritated by her acting . Clichè filled dialogues makes you think you are watching something irrelevant from the story here. See it’s a good show but Sabrina comic fans would be bit disappointed.

If you are looking for a new teenage drama CAOS is definetly worth a watch but if you are a Sabrina comic fan then you would be disappointed. Also the show is made by the producers of Riverdale this clearly why it is more dark than being more humourous.
